WORKFORCE TASK FORCE

MCBT leads the Mercer County Workforce Taskforce, which exists to strengthen and develop the local workforce by accomplishing the following:

Identifying courses, training and certificate programs available to area students | Closing area employment gaps by establishing career navigation and planning services
Building bridges between regional employers and participants in the regional workforce | Increasing awareness of area employment and upskill opportunities

Partner agencies include social services, public health, job services, philanthropy, nonprofit, business and community and economic development.

MERCER COUNTY CAREER CENTER

The Mercer County Career Center assists Mercer County residents on their career path and in their job search. The Career Center also assists area employers in hiring quality candidates for their current job openings.

VIRTUAL RESOURCE BROCHURE

The Virtual Resource Brochure is a pdf portal for anyone entering the workforce or making a career change. Most of the programs and schools in the brochure are non-traditional, with a focus on certification programs, vocational training, and 2 year degrees.
